We have been providing legal services to the market since 1995. From the very beginning, our priorities were specialization, a flexible response to customers’ needs and the provision of fully comprehensive assistance to our clients.
The founder of the Firm is Marek Czernis, a Legal Counsel, who is a member of the Maritime Law Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Maritime Law Codification Commission. Currently the Law Office has a team of 7 lawyers (attorneys at law and trainees).
We provide comprehensive legal services and our individual lawyers offer expertise particularly in the area of maritime shipping, civil rights, the economy, transportation, employment law and intellectual property rights.
We value highly the trust which participants in the marine market have shown us over the years.
The lawyers who make up the Firm are very well known for their activities in international forums, in particular: the Comite Maritime International, the European Community Shipowners Association and the International Bar Association, as well as educational and scientific activities. They have also had numerous publications in the professional press.
We provide services to a wide range of clients including shipowners, charterers, P&I companies, international banks, insurance companies, shippers and carriers, advertising agencies and also entrepreneurs engaged in production and commerce and service providers from diverse trades.
Furthermore, thanks to our cooperation with international law offices and an extensive network of legal correspondents, the Firm provides its legal services not only in Poland, but in other countries in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia as well.
