In September 2020, the Club reported on the new "At-Berth" regulation approved by the California Air Resources Board ("CARB") that year to replace the 2007 regulation. The new regulation was introduced to further reduce pollution from ocean-going vessels while docked at California's busiest ports and is due to come into force on 1 January 2023.
