The article answers the main queries regarding maritime incidents under the Polish law such as marine casualties, cargo or passenger claims in both its substantive and procedural aspects e.g. the rules of securing the claim by arrest of a vessel, as well as preserving evidence. Furthermore, the article explains the relations between the Polish law and foreign judgments and awards.
